About VaultDesk
VaultDesk (“VaultDesk”, “we”, “us”) operates the VaultDesk mobile app and related services, a local marketplace for trading card game collectors and vendors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information.When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store your email address and name (display name) from that provider. We use these to create and identify your account. We support Apple’s “Hide My Email” private relay addresses.
- Location. With your permission, we use your device location (while you are using the app) to show vendors near you. We do not track your location in the background and we do not sell location data.
- Marketplace content.We store the content you create: card collections, vendor inventory and buylists, offers you make or receive, storefront details, and the messages you send in buyer–vendor chat.
- Technical and account-security information. We store a server-issued account identifier and session records (including hashed device/agent and IP values) to keep your account secure.
- Analytics and diagnostics. We do not currently collect analytics/usage data or crash diagnostics, and we do not include advertising or cross-app tracking. If this changes, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy disclosures.
- Payments. In-app card payment is not enabled. We do not collect buyer card or bank details in the app at this time.
2. How We Use Information
To provide and secure the service: authenticate you, show nearby vendors, power offers and chat, maintain your collection and (for vendors) your storefront, inventory, and transactions, and prevent abuse.
3. How Information Is Shared
- With other users as needed for the marketplace: when you make an offer or chat, the relevant vendor (or buyer) sees your display name and the content you send.
- Service providers that host or power the app: Apple and Google (sign-in), our cloud hosting/database provider, and card-data providers used to display catalog and pricing information. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Chat messages, offers, and marketplace records are retained to provide history to both parties. When you delete your account (see §6), we delete or anonymize your personal data except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at privacy@vaultdesk.cards.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account from within the app at Settings › Profile › Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your personal profile data and disables access; some marketplace records may be retained in anonymized form as described above. You can also email privacy@vaultdesk.cards to request deletion.
7. Children
VaultDesk is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of VaultDesk after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
