Frequently asked questions
How do offers work?
Open any card in a shop and send an offer. You can edit or withdraw your offer while it's open. The vendor can accept, decline, or counter — and you can respond to a counter the same way. Offers are how you and the vendor agree on a price.
How do I sign in?
Sign in with Apple or Google. There's no password to create or remember. Signing in is required because your offers, chats, and collection are tied to your account.
How do I find shops near me?
When you open the shops list, allow location access. VaultDesk uses your location only to find nearby vendors — it isn't used for anything else. You can browse the shops it surfaces and open any one to see their inventory.
How do I list inventory as a vendor?
Switch to vendor mode and open the vendor console. From there you can add, search, sort, and filter your listings, set conditions, printings, and graded details, and publish a buylist with your buy %, sell %, and offer types.
How does chat work?
Each item has its own message thread. Open a card and message the vendor right there to work out details before you agree on a deal. You'll find your conversations in Messages.
Is there in-app payment?
No. VaultDesk doesn't process payments. Once you and a vendor agree on a price through offers and chat, you arrange the deal with the vendor directly — in person or however you both prefer.
How do I switch between buyer and vendor mode?
One account works for both. Use the mode switch to flip between buyer and vendor whenever you like.
How do I report or block someone?
You can report a message or block a user from the chat thread. Reported content and blocked users are reviewed, and blocking stops further messages from that account. Safety reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete account. This removes your account and associated data.
How do I track my collection?
In buyer mode, add the cards you own to your collection and keep an eye on their market value over time.
